KIncaid in the Top 10 is nutso to me.
Basically, he is removing positional value from the ranking criteria.
RT Darnell Wright ahead of LT Paris Johnson Jr. and LT Broderick Jones.
- Wright is a very good player and definitely more developed at this point than Jones.
- Jones has higher upside with elite athletic ability, whereas, Wright is RT only or OG.
Other interesting rankings:
Quentin Johnston: I just don't see him as the 30th best player. He really struggles to make any contested catches.
Joe Tippmann at #33 over John Michael Schmitz at #48.
Sam LaPorta at #42 is earlier than most rankings.
Bryan Bresee at #37 seems about right to me but most draft media have in rated higher.
Cody Mauch is about where other draft media have him rated but I don't get it.
- I don't see him as better than Schmitz and some other OL than are not even on the list.
Will McDonald IV at #26 might be more accurate than the majority of draft media that have him as a 2nd rounder.
- He played of 3-man DE which is not where he'll play in the NFL. I think that might have been overlooked in the rankings.
- Dan Quinn will love his long arms (34-7/8").
Mazi Smith at #41. I'm not sold on him. Steve Avila pushed him around in that matchup.
