do anybody know how fast he ran at his pro day this year?

i got this information from last year
http://www.fvsports.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13048

it said he ran a offical 4.46 40 yard dash....when he was a junior....hopefully he gets back to that speed

Main thing is he is very quick in and out of his breaks. Wes Welker ran a 4.60 but he knows how to accelerate in and out of his breaks. I think many focus on raw speed but there is a lot more to it than raw speed.

You know, I read that he and Stanback are fighting for a roster spot?

What?

Seems to me that a few players on the team are raving about the kid's ability. Burnett calls him Welker and TO says he's like a waterbug out there. They also rave about his hands. If all that is true, why would he be in danger of losing a spot? I don't hear anyone raving on about Austin, Hurd or Stanback. Or is this another case of overestimating someone's prowess because of their ethnicity?

He never had that speed. You just dont lose speed in your early twenties...

He might have run a 4.46 36 yard dash like all the Buckeyes do...

people used to ask vince lombardi questions about bart start all the time. what about starr's weak arm? what about starr's lack of speed? ...on and on.

lombardi's response: "yeah, all starr can do is beat you."

if amendola can do his job, what difference does it make how fast he is?

He's quick. Quick is different from fast. He know's how, when and where to utilize his quickness. He'll break so fast, DB's are left standing with their jocks wrapped around their heads. :)

Amendola is so fast he could beat light in a race. And if he was able to race himself, he would win.

He's quicker than a rolling "O". Able to leap a capital "T" with a single bound!!

Amendola could get open with a blindfold over his eyes, a wooden leg and just 3 toes on his good foot. :laugh2:
