Signed by Cowboys Cowboys sign DE Dante Fowler

I'm confused as to when this team will focus on the run side of things instead of the pass rush side. I don't dislike any of the signings in and of themselves (although I'm hoping $8M for Fowler includes some incentives) but every defensive guy so far has been better in pass/pass rush situations than on run downs IIRC.

This also protects us if Sam Williams gets himself suspended or hurt again

Was stupid of Washington to let him walk. You dont let double digit sacks walk out the door because you want to pay him $8m
I'm surprised Quinn let him walk........maybe he told him he would rather come back with a better chance to start.

This is a great draft for run-stopping DEs and DTs. I wouldn't be surprised if that's the plan. At least, I hope it is. Mazi is still a major liability and there's no way we can go into this season counting on him.

Not a bad signing, but I do worry at $8M he will be looked at as a starting DE....DE room now looks like Parsons, Williams, Turner, Kneeland, Wheat, Fowler. Thomas also comes with some position flex. Could this open up a move to trade one of these guys? Obviously it doesnt hurt to have extra bodies in camp for injury purposes, but do they have room in the draft to get an EDGE player now, or add a true run first edge guy? A lot more pass rushers in this group than run players.
