I loved watching the original three Star Wars film documentaries on a far-away galaxy a long time ago. Of course I always rooted for the good guy, Darth Vader. It was the story of a good guy dealing with a bunch of spoiled rotten bratty people who rebelled against the Empire of good guys. Even his own son, this snot-nosed kid, Luke Skywalker, was a traitor to the Empire. He was such a brat that he even denied that Vader was his dad, and in a tender scene when Vader was trying to save him and bring him back to the good guy dark side of the force instead of fighting for those commie, whiny, and wimpy rebels.
In high school, my best friend and I used to love watching Star Wars movies and rooting for Darth Vader. Vader was such a good dad that he saved Luke's life at the end when the Emperor was trying to kill him. If that doesn't prove what a great guy Vader is, I don't know what would.
I can't believe some bozos have hollered at me, saying I've misinterpreted Star Wars. They claim that Skywalker and his rebel brats are supposed to be who we root for. Huh? They're such a bunch of wimps. Darth Vader is the dude who is bad-*** and a cool guy to boot. Plus, it's not just a story some dude made up. The opening scrolling credits make it clear that this is a documentary about real events that happened a long time ago in a galaxy far away. NASA's voyager must have found the documents detailing all the events, and then George Lucas dramatized them. I can tell a real historical drama from some work of pulp fiction. Sheesh.
