Welp, to Charlie Weis' staff he goes, from headcoach of the Dallas Cowboys a decade ago, to DC of the worst team in the Big 12, best of luck to him.

KC just got.....well........worser.

LOL and KC wonder's why they never compete :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2:

It's not KC.

It's KU, he's coaching with Charlie Weis

Maybe.

He should start by trying to gain the respect of the players he coaches.

Damn sure didn't have that here.

Not his first rodeo, was at Miami with Jimmy Johnson in the 80s, the guy was if not is a solid secondary coach, decent coordinator, unless the game has just passed him by. I think given the meager improvement between Wade Phillips and Rob Ryan, and the stellar improvement of Houston's defense under Wade is testimony to attitude problems if not flat out overrated talent base on the Cowboys defense.

Campo's first day at Kansas:

OK guys my defense is real simple. Play 10 yards off the receiver and don't rush the passer. We don't want anyone getting hurt out there.

Are you under the impression that Campo was the DC in Dallas and was responsible for the defensive scheme the team used? Even if not, what role exactly do you think Campo had in holding back the pass rush?

The first rule of defending the ball is, there is no ball. If I see anyone out there even look like they are going to make a play on the ball, your *** is outta here...

And CB's never, ever, look back for the ball. Make a play on the WR, if he has the ball or not. Pass Interference is not a bad thing. OK BREAK !

No, I was making a joke about Campo.

I know he was a good defensive backs coach at Miami and his first tour of duty in Dallas. Whether it was lack of talent, DC/HC instruction or both his secondary units didn't play well the last few years.

Hope KU has an indoor practice facility. Be pretty rough getting pantsed in Kansas winters.

Makes you wonder, doesn't it?

Wade is run out of town, mid-season, .. and then this year his defense plays into the second round of the playoffs, ... meanwhile the new and improved Cowboys are on the outside looking in at the playoffs once again.
