For all those not living in Arz. don't forget to set your clocks back an hour this weekend

Thank God! Not only will the extra hour of sleep come in handy, but I'm tired of getting up at the crack of dawn and having it be pitch black outside.

:p:

Haha, years ago when I was a bartender I always hated this one. The clock hits 2 and you have to reset it to 1.

F that! When I have a bunch of things to do before work, I get up at 6 and start, which includes some stuff outside. I was stumbling around in the dark in the rain this morning, cursing. :D

:laugh2: Dude that sucks! Do you get paid for the extra hour?

Actually it's the end of DST I believe. Back to Standard...

All it means to me is my stupid clock in the living room is wrong again. That means I have to drag the 8 foot latter out again. :bang2:

Latter:

Situated or occurring nearer to the end of something than to the beginning.

"Faced with those two, I would far prefer the latter."

Ladder:

Used to access time of clocks hung at rediculously high levels in ones home.

"The lady awoken by strange noises, she saw Isabel being helped down a rope ladder, by a figure in highland costume..."

:laugh2:

Damn troublemaker. I'm glad you have to sit in the dark until 10am. :laugh2:

I really wish this would go away. I would prefer the extra hour of light in the evening. It gets dark way to early during the winter anyway and this just makes it worse.

Thing is, it is already dark by 6pm here anyway, so it isn't a big deal but our sunrise isn't until 8 now. If we didn't change, by xmas, the sun wouldn't rise until 9 am so I would be dropping my son off at school in darkness. Sun would still set at 5:14 so dark early anyway.

It is not so bad for you southerners but for us northerners, savings would be a nightmare from November to February. At my latitude, we only get 8 hours of daylight from say mid November to mid January.
