That was one heck of a finish.

You ain't kidding. Might have been one of the best last laps I've ever seen. By the way, Bayne is from Knoxville.

20 year old kid in his 2nd race. That just don't happen.

And JR.....

Please retire.

I loved this race. The 2 cars working together, the cautions, the radio stuff, the infrared stuff, the amazing finish.

One for the ages.

Oh and the silent turn 3 was touching.

Sweet kid too.

One of the worst Daytona 500's I've seen in many, many years.

The ending was great but that is it.

Congrats to the Wood Bros. and Trevor B., the kid has talent

I thought it was a great race. There was competitive racing all over the track and close racing in packs.

No one pulled away and ran off with the race.

I'm not sure what there was not to like. I thought it was one of the best I've seen in a long time.

First EVER race I have ever sat down and watched all of it. I like it. Congrats to Trevor. Great race.

It was fun and congrats to the kid...but I didn't like the bumping. It just didn't feel like daytona. Leave that stuff for talladega.

Good finish. Decent race from what I saw. Lap 3 was my favorite. Wood Brothers gotta be living a dream tonight. I'll take a no name winning any race but this kid winning the Daletona 500 is really something.

still a million times better than Pocono though

watching my 4 year old playing with his Matchbox cars is better then Pocono.

I was happy for the kid and what a birthday present, 1st try at Daytona, 2nd race ever in sprint cup and pulls off the biggest win in NASCAR.

The last 15 laps were epic.

Good to see Bobby Labonte up there pushing that kid. Way to go, Trevor.

It was different, instead of a big pack together through out the race it was cars running with partners. However to me it was interesting to watch as guys would be looking for drafting partners at the restart and not always able to find someone right away.

I still don't get it. What was "crap" about the race?
tandem racing, that's what was crap, half the damn field was out of the race by the 30th lap because of that crap. It only got exiting when Trevor dumped the guy that pushed him to the win.

Yep, that's what made it interesting to me too.

There was one scene in the race of a strap on the hood of a car and it was blowing backwards. As he got into the draft of the car in front you could literally see the strap come forward.

That was interesting. I think you have ot be half crazy to think that race wasn't great. Even the drivers talked about how nerve wracking it was.

that's the first time you've seen something like that on tv in a restrictor plate race? really?
