I would hope he seriously would consider taking a job as a LB defensive assistant. I feel he has the future potential of another Ron Rivera or Mike Vrabel. But needs seasoning first working on the defensive side and as a DC in the future. Great mind. His body just gave up on him because he played the game hard.

Another season of serious injury, and this time a PFF of 34.8.
11 solo tackles over 9 games.
He had 11 solo tackles in *one* game in 2016, his All Pro year.

He wasn't even a shadow of himself this year. He's unrecognizable.

Last year, he helped. This year, not. Time to move on.

It time for him to go unfortunately, he’s good when healthy but not dependable....I say encourage him to retire, relegate jaylon to a more situational role that makes use of his run stopping and rush ability, sign a fa and draft one....then pray LVE heals up

Lee is a true soldier. He loves the game. Unfortunately his body is telling him to call it quits. "We Are Pennstate"

He's that "what could of been" had he been able to stay healthy.

Was such a breath of fresh air early on in his career. A guy who could diagnosis plays, run or pass, and had enough athletic talent to get there to prevent a big play.

Cowboys need at least 2 new starting lbers honestly. I think Lee can be good as a back up
Also limit his plays throughout the season so he won't be nicked up so much and worn down. Then Lee will be raring to go come playoff time.

Same with Dat Nguyen, another outstanding Cowboy LB who's career was derailed by injuries.

He was our best LB last year, but this season he lost it. It’s too bad.

Lee is a FA. So he will test the market. I do not think he will be resigned until later on like after the draft. See where they stand at LB position if they feel he can help at that point.
