In terms of being able to do everything that your position demands, he is probably our best player.

Yes, I'm looking for 3k yards receiving and 7 wins next year. As former Lions GM Matt Millen once said, you can't have enough great WRs.

Not sure where the hate comes from with Coop. He's the best receiver on the team. Gallup is too inconsistent and right now Lamb drops too many passes, but I suspect he will clean tha tup.

People hate on anybody that signs a big contract. Nothing to be done about it but enjoy this kid as he grows into his prime. He's going to be among the all time greats when it's all said and done because he thinks the game at a high level and that will enable him to remain productive well into his 30's. He has elite physical gifts but doesn't need them to beat 90% of the corners in the league.. I love watching him work his man over.. If you have a chance to watch the All-22 you really get to see how often he's open and the QBs just miss him. Dude is a magician out there.

It’s funny how quickly a strength can become a weakness! We get our OL back, BUT they trade either Coop or Gallup, the other promptly gets injured, teams double Lamb, and we’re left with Wilson and Brown. Conversely, we acquire 5-7 new guys on defense, and with a new DC, rise from 30th to 15th...

People hate on Coop because of his low energy sideline persona. That's just his personality and you cant blame him for that. They interpret it as he's not trying or doesn't care. I like him and I think he could be even more of a beast of KM would use him like like GB does with Adams. Cooper is open a lot more than people think.

Remember all the media people attacking Cooper because of his "disappearing acts?"

Where are they now after he caught 92 passes in spite of having four different quarterbacks in 2020? Cooper is one of our best players and to suggest otherwise is just being a hater in my opinion.

I agree. I have nothing against those who are highly emotional as long as they can control their emotions and not allow it to take them out of the game. Cooper is quite and goes about his business making plays when they come his way.

In this era of diva receivers who basically scream "look at me" after a five yard catch; I find Cooper's style refreshing. He's a professional and knows how to act like one.

Because he caught 92 passes for a 6-10 team doesn't remove the times in 2019 when he didn't show up.

He played well this year. Didn't get paid and mail it in by any means. He is an excellent player, no doubt.

Being of the opinion that the 20M would be better spent on defense considering all factors does not make anyone a "hater."

I just want guys to make the plays. Those who play with a lot of emotion I have no problems as long as those emotion are kept in check of not allowing it to get you off your game because of frustration or getting stupid personal fouls that cost the team and kill drives

Next season will decide if we keep Amari or Gallup. Can’t keep both.
They can if they choose to.

Tough to say when no one knows what the cap will look like at that point.

As I said in another post, I'd rather give 20M to a stud DT or DE but you've got to have the chance to do so.

The team is a bit unbalanced IMO.

The offense is good enough to score with anyone when healthy, but they also have an embarrassing defense.

I though Dez let his emotions take him out of the game more than a few times.
