The brief resurgence of the cowboys during each of last 3 season. After all the years each of us as “Cowboys“ forever cannot excuse this playoff game. We can point at every aspect of the organization to assign blame for this game. But who cares at this point it’s water under the bridge. Now what? First, find coaches who are full of energy no matter the score. Second, find players who thrive on the fun of the game not their personal stats. Follow a vision wrapped in team chemistry and personal leadership. Develop a strategy that supports the vision, specifically around leadership. This is where you set the season goals. Now the plan, very specific instructions for each unit including front office and coaching staff. Lastly, tactical implementation so everyone is being coached and knows their part as a leader, and team player. Go have fun On the field.

We as Cowboys fans feel entitled to success based on the past success of the 70s and 90s. It ain’t happening any time soon with this current set up. The local and national media overrate the players because of the uniform and some gaudy stats vs poor teams (offense and defense). Only a massive organizational overhaul could lead to meaningful change in post season outcomes. Don’t hold your breath.

Remember that blow out game where the offense wanted to get CeeDee that one receiving record late in the game? Remember when Micah mentioned he wanted to get multiple sacks in the season finale and might just get a few offsides penalties doing so? The signs of selfishness were all there. You're right in regard to these players prioritizing personal statistics over ultimate team success!

You do realize that this is the exact opposite of the way this team operates right?

I respectfully disagree. Speaking for myself as a fan since 1973, I don't feel entitled about anything. It must be worked for and earned. We haven't done that the right way since 1995. Its been party central...with the players and much of that is Jerry and the atmosphere he created. Can't play ball in the lap of luxury. It softens u. Discipline and change must be started right at the very top, down to hiring the right HC. MM IS AN ENABLER, he coddles. Thats why Jerry luvs him. But I think Jerry has fallen out of luv with MM. I feel hes a gonner. I think even Jerry right now realizes, maybe too late, that the culture here is too distracting and unfocused on the task. Is it fixable? We shall see. I guess it depends on what happens with MM and who is the next HC. and DC. Jerry must have a vision of discipline, or it will be more of the same. We briefly had this when the Tuna was here. The last thing u said is right, we need a massive overhaul and change that is meaningful and lasting.

the New HC and DC must be a guy with skins on the wall that comes in here and has the balls to grab Micah and take him aside and have a come to Jesus talk with him. I don't think Quinn has been doing him justice at times. Last thing Micah needs is a coach telling him how great he is. He needs a coach willing to tell it the way it is. Thats how u grow as a man and player.

Big issue with the team is we are small at edge and DT. For me, thats where it all starts this offseason. Gotta find that big body power edge guy that can rotate in with DLAW. Need a couple powerful freaky interior dudes too.Mazi was a waste.

The main problem is you have Jerry who has always hated to say "rebuild"....and that is what it will take in this overhaul. Things will need to get blown up and built from the foundation, and not on the sand it is on now. He has enabled this situation all these years with placing himself at the helm and thinking it was gonna be easy peasy once Jimmy left. Heck, it looked easy. Three with possible four SBs in 6 years. . how hard can it be? Think again Jethro, time waits for no man.
