Dead Money (former players) = $8,292,597.82

How much will this change next year? Maybe enough to sign a "wow" offensive player?

Huh?

A "wow" offensive player?

We already have a top 5 QB, WR, TE... a very good offensive line and a running back tandem that is does well overall.

I think the case can be made for a "burner" however WR seems to be the one position where over-spending isn't necessary. A productive WR can be had for a reasonable amount of FA money or with an affordable draft pick, think how the Pats acquired their top 3 receivers or the 6th round pick the Cowboys spent on Terry Glenn.

I will agree and think we are pretty well set if Glenn comes back. Terry Glenn counts $3,494,000 against this years cap so if he doesn't return do you know his $#s next year? I would like to see them get Fitzgerald if possible. They could really pick up some quality for the $8,292,597.82 difference.

I wonder if the WR via FA.......on the cheap........ala New england (Moss, Welker, Stalworth) and Dallas (T.O.)............

will come to an end.......

NFL verymuch a copy cat league....

the league will cycle to a point of over-value

but what they wont consider is the guy throwing to them .......there are still dumb GM's all over the league.........

Yet Jerry Jones said himself he wanted a "Wow" player on offense.

What position does that leave? Runningback.

Gee... I wonder who he may be referring to.
