December Madness LOL

:eek::

If only it were true.

Forgetting for a moment what the outcome is :)D), a 16 team D-1 NCAA football tournament would be so awesome, it's hard to put words to it.

Instead, we are still having several hundred page threads arguing if team a is better than team b if team c beat team a but team b beat team c.

Exactly! I kind of like seeing those brackets.

I agree. If College baseball and college basketball can make a killing off their playoff system there is no doubt in my mind big money would be made in major college football. Face it college football crowds are as big as any SB game and that is reg season for many teams across the nation packing in over 90,000, TV viewership is higher in football than any of the other college sports.

Every playoff game would be watched with much anticipation and identical electricity as any bowl game.

Except for the fact that you would have 9 games that would be as big as the biggest bowl games, while you may have 4 every year with the current system. Even the BCS bowls aren't always interesting games, I mean who watched the Orange this year?

More people would watch more games in a playoff system like that rather than the mess we have now.

Peplaw06 is right, this years Orange Bowl was unwatchable. That should be unaccptable to them.
