Just Wonderin if Yall got a Default Channel........Mine is CNN, Well, 60% CNN and 40% ESPN.....Im talkin bout when yall aint particularly watchin anything, just background noise......Growin up in the 90's it was always Nickelodeon, MTV and TV Guide Channel......I had a shameful FOX News phase in the mid to late 00's.....but ever since its been all about CNN and ESPN.....Ive always loved me some History Channel, Com Central (Adult Swim), FX, ETC. but I could never imagine anything other than CNN or ESPN as my default/Background Noise Channels......And if you're one of those "I turn my TV off when im not watchin it" persons, well, congrats to you!! Frickin Hooray for you but keep your self righteous bs to yourself!!

My hangup is situational. If I wanted to peek into what's currently happening, I turn on CNN. It'll stay on that channel if I lose interest and don't change the channel for something else I wanted to see. Sometimes I channel surf and stop on Oxygen when Snapped is on. The television is stuck on there if-and-until my interest peaks for something else. I may not be paying attention but it is something about so-called loved ones being malicious with each other that doesn't prompt me to change the channel--even when I'm not paying close attention to what's on!

Destination America, Travel Channel, The Weather Channel, or Smithsonian Channel, whichever has the most interesting thing on to me for the upcoming several hours. But mostly Destination America.

CNN only for me. I spend most of my TV Time on NASA TV, HG TV, Food Network and Travel Channel if I am not watching CNN

Fox News (though very difficult lately with so much Trump - and FNB is better with Stossel and Kennedy) and NFL Network.

I don't really have a go to channel. If I'm not desperately trying to keep up with my DVR stuff or watching the Cowboys, Rangers or Stars I look for First 48 marathons, How It's Made, Ridiculousness and Impractical Jokers.

HLN. They seem to always have something at least entertaining on, and Forensic Files is perfect bedtime TV... I'm one of those people that need a fan and TV, or radio on to sleep.

The Blaze, Fox News. I sometimes watch CNN and MSNBC for the entertainment value, some of the crap they say makes me LMAO. Unless it's a live sports event, ESPN is for losers.

I don't trust the corporation to provide me with news so that rules out CNN, Fox News, ESPN and the rest.

Now that I pretty much only have streaming TV. I just listen to music rather than TV. Back when I did. It was usually History or Discovery Channel.

Probably ESPN in the mornings before I start watching something I recorded on the DVR.

In the evenings I start out on HGTV to see what is on before switching. Yes...I know..>I know.

One of the sports channels, usually a highlights/magazine style show from German, Italian or French football on one of them

Investigation Discovery or Science Channel (I've seen just about every How It's Made there is). When I go to bed it's almost always on HLN to watch Forensic Files. I also like it because it doesn't switch to infomercials like a lot of the other channels do.

You're in to house decorating? :muttley:
