I know, we are Cowboy fans. The term "adjustment" probably looks like a foreign word to the fanbase.
The team has a personnel issue. I get it. The DT's are just awful. They get double teamed and blown back. Opponents now have the tape and are just going to jam the ball down Dallas' throat if they have the ability. its going to make for a long, difficult season.
There are ways to change things up. For example, I submit the "bear" front:

Zimmer won't do this because he just coaches what he knows. I just don't want to hear from the Cowboys that they are trying everything. They aren't and won't. They are just going to roll out the same scheme and hope that doing the same thing and hoping for better results isn't actually insane.

Basically you put a 3rd interior linemen in the middle making it impossible to double team those guys. Parsons gets pushed more to the outside where he gets more room to operate. You end up exchanging a safety for a D linemen, which is dangerous but if you are giving up a TD every drive what do you have to lose?46 Defense Run Fits
There’s no better front for stopping the run than the 46 Defense. Here are the run responsibilities for the front 8
