Defensive Performance Grass vs Turf

I played on that grass my whole life in Florida. It is very fast when firm and dry and an excellent surface on which to play. When it sucks is when it gets wet. Because the ground is almost always moist underneath the ground in Florida the slightest hint of precipitation turns the ground into mud. Since they bring the sod in for the games this surface will be pretty loose and mushy if they water it at all on game day. Which why wouldn't they. Ours is a defense built on speed.. Why not do what you can to slow that down.. Cleat choice is going to be key Monday night.

Good point. Home team offenses have an advantage with crowd noise, knowing the field surface better, and sometimes refs favor the home team.

Not as good as they do on turf that's for sure. We are just a turf pedigreed team.

If we win on grass it's gonna be an ugly win.

No is a turf team but they can play on grass. The Giants can too.
