It's early, but I'm not sure there's a single player on this list we missed Sunday.

I would take Dorance and Hankins back no questions asked. Gilmore maybe, but I actually like each of our CBs as much or better than him.

Everyone else? Probably better without them letting some young guys get burn.

Agree for this game ......but let's revisit this when we play a good offense that has their starting RB, both starting OTs and a QB that's not ranked in the bottom 5 of the league.

But again, for THIS GAME, I agree

Prospective.

How will this translate to comp picks?
  • Three 5th rounders: offensive tackle Tyron Smith, center Tyler Biadasz, and defensive end Dorance Armstrong Jr., were projected to be worth three fifth-round picks
  • One sixth rounder: running back Tony Pollard will gain the Cowboys an extra in the sixth round.
  • It was possible that Dante Fowler's free agency exit could have earned the Cowboys an additional seventh-rounder, but that would exceed the maximum four compensatory selections allowed per team per draft class

I think Linval Joseph will be good enough to make people forget about Hankins. Mazi is getting better too. Some of the guys that left, we're better off without them.

What wasn't mentioned was Dan Quinn. I think we will find the defense is better with Zimmer than Quinn. Quinn's success came when Micah Parsons was drafted.
