Déjà vu: A feeling that one has seen or heard something before.
Date was December 12, 2021. The Cowboys needed to beat the Washington Commanders to secure the NFC East Division lead and host a game in the playoffs. It's ironic because the Cowboys beat the Commanders in Washington DC in a close but hard fought game: 27 - 20. Cowboys had a huge lead early, but mistakes and a costly turnover in the 2nd half allowed the Commanders to make a comeback. Luckily, our Cowboys prevailed and won the key division matchup.
It's the same game where Commanders LB, Bradley-King, put a late hit on Dak along the Cowboys sideline where La'el Collins and Zeke came over and defended Dak.
Zeke is no longer around (neither was La'el for the past 2 seasons), but La'el is suddenly back in time to help our injury-riddled Oline go to Washington DC and hopefully repeat what the Cowboys did in 2021, win the division and secure the #2 seed along with the first 2 playoff games at home. This has a feeling of déjà vu happening all over again.
