Anyone on here a Mac pro? I'm trying to delete a boot.efi file from the trash but it won't let me. Normally, I can just hold option and click trash and it will empty. This is the first time it won't let me. Any ideas?

See the answer from user 'softwater' begining with the line 'I suspect that the file is in the .Trash folder of your Time Machine (TM) or some other disk (see my screenshot above), and so you don't have the permissions.'

You're the man! Thanks. I wish holding option worked--it's much easier. :D
