Demarcus Lawrence played well today, and deserved a better outcome

He was in the backfield a lot. Defense overall was good enough. They got hung out to dry by the offense and wore down late, but still gave the team a chance to win.

12 points will rarely cut it these days.

I have wondered in the past if he was worth his current contract, but he quitely had a great year and was a good team leader on the defense.

He's not Charles Haley or DeMarcus Ware, but he has been a solid player for the Cowboys this season.
