Demarcus Ware Hall of Fame Induction

Great speech....a very close friend of mine and former scout, RIP, told me about Ware when he was in Troy....I didn't believe him...another close friend that is at university of Nebraska is close to him and Ware is his son's godfather. They both said that he is a quality person....I'm glad I was wrong about him. Go Cowboys!

I took it as he was wrong about the type of player he was, not to his character.

Ware was a silent leader. I remember all of us “discussing” whether to draft Ware or David Pollack. We chose wisely.

I have a DWare story to share. Back when he was drafted, he and Marcus Spears came into Papas Brothers Steakhouse with a small group. I was still in training and begged the manager to let me work the table and he agreed. They were both very nice and had a great time. I got to welcome them both to Dallas and told them to give 'em hell that season. Pretty cool moment for sure!

Very good friend and client of mine is a english professor at NYU. I put him on to slang to impress his younger students lol
