One of the Cowboys official visits. Once considered a high pick, he has been falling

Whats your take on him? Could he be the interior stud Dallas has been looking for? Or is his falling stock a sign that he will be an underwhelming pro?

I heard they like him because of his "position flex"

would not be shocked if we wind up with 2-3 players from ATM. Could see Green, Demarvin and Spiller later.

What I gather is that he is more of a flash player without a true position. Talent is there, but does he have the want to be great?

Feels like a bargain pick in round 2. Not sure exactly what his ceiling is, or if he is a great run defender in the NFL. That said it feels he has a high floor of being a solid pass rush specialist that can line up at end or inside.

Too slow to play DE, too light in the britches to play tackle, He looks kind of like a less explosive Tyrone Crawford.

IMO, we are already rostering a similar if not little better player in Osa.

I have watched him play against the Alabama's, LSU's, Florida's, etc.

He can play. Like any other player, I can't tell you about his love for the game, nor if Dallas can motivate, but he can play.

Heard he could be a day 2 option maybe a DE 3Tech combo like Crawford a couple years ago

I think he is a better prospect for a 3-4 defense

I remember reading about him as a top 10 prospect.

I think he’s a better athlete on tape than what he tested as but the dude just never lived up to the hype. He makes some impressive splash plays and then looks lost.

Maybe just letting him stick to 3T would help him but we already have a log jam there. I don’t see him being better than Osa so I wouldn’t draft him.

Hard pass for me. We already have a flash player in Hill who has yet to put it all together, if he ever will.

I'd take Leal anytime. I have watched him play alot, and I think he is better than Tank was coming in. I think he is a DE and is mistyped as a DT, so has been talked about how bad.

At the end of the season he was a top 15 draft pick on nearly all boards. Get "professionals" hyping their guys and all of a sudden people are hard passing on him in the second............

Still the same tape. He hasn't played any more games. He is still an elite 4-3 DE with size that can play the strong side and get pressure just like he was in January.

He is the type of player that coaches like but fans don't like.

I don't see him as a 1st round pick, but he would be a good player to have on the team.

His pass rush style is similar to DLaw.
- He has a feel for when an OL has his weight slightly off-balance and he'll power into the OL at just the right moment.

I didn't see he get pushed back much even when playing at DT.

There was a game where he got double-teamed on all snaps for an entire drive.

His workout killed any chance of him being a 1st rounder. Could he be in play in round 2 ?
