"I learned how to coach from being under Saleh," Ryans said. "He taught me a lot when it comes to scheme when it came to just handling players, game planning.”

Texans were 4th in defensive efficiency this season.

Jets were 2nd in defensive efficiency this season, until they fired Saleh.

Imagine being against this hire.

Ryans is junk past the wild card round, though. He had no idea how to scheme and adjust to the KC blitz today. Yawn.

People need to also remember they have Danielle Hunter and Will Anderson on the edge....

He’s been a HC for 2 years and has won more playoff games than McCarthy did in his tenure. With a rookie QB last year.

He took over a team that had won 11 games combined in the prior 3 seasons.

Is that where he learned to go for it on 4th and 10 in his own territory with the play clock running down?
Let's play a game.

YOU get to make the decision. You're Jerry Jones for a day.

Here's where it gets fun... let's say you're ASSURED that one of the HC candidates will guarantee a defense that finishes in the top 5 next season, like the Texans and Jets (thru Week 5) this year.

You have no clue how the offense or special teams will perform, or the team as a whole... but you KNOW the defense will be fixed.

Would you hesitate for even a second to hire this guy???

Okay, he's going to have a much better career and win many more playoff games than Dak, too.

I'll brace for the incoming barrage of emojis.
That's cute the way you hype up a newbie.

Had a top 5 D this year and he was the weak link on his own team.

Texans: 4th in defensive efficiency.... 20th in offensive efficiency.

Speaking of D.. was just wondering if Zim is still under contract..

Was trying to google and find out.. all I could find was the contract started on Feb 1.. Im guessing it finishes on Feb 1?

I wonder if any teams will interview Zim.

Actually, the OL was the weak link, not the QB.

If Dak played for the Texans, you'd know that.
