Cedric Tillman

Weaknesses
  • Lacks sudden takeoff to consistently elude physical corners.
  • Looked a step slower even before ankle injury in 2022.
  • Needs to fight off coverage at the top of the route.
  • Doesn’t possess clear second gear to run under deep throws.
  • Must prove he can make it back to 2021 form.
  • Doesn’t always snap off breaks with decisive burst.

Like Tillman, Benton would be great value at 90

One every year, so here is 2023:

Round 1, Pick 26: Steve Avila, OL
Round 2, Pick 58: Cedric Tillman, WR
Round 3, Pick 90: Keeanu Benton, DT
Round 4, Pick 129: Israel Abanikanda, RB
Round 6, Pick 212: Zack Kuntz, TE
Round 7, Pick 246: Jake Moody, K
Round 1, Pick 26: Steve Avila, OL
I really like this player. He played a full season at OC before moving to LG.

Round 2, Pick 58: Cedric Tillman, WR
I think he is a bit underrated by the draft media. Better football player than Quentin Johnston but not quite as athletic.

Round 3, Pick 90: Keeanu Benton, DT
Maybe my favorite DT in this draft. I would take him over Mazi.

Round 4, Pick 129: Israel Abanikanda, RB
One of my favorite RBs in the draft after the top 2.

Round 6, Pick 212: Zack Kuntz, TE

Round 7, Pick 246: Jake Moody, K

I don't see any chance that Benton or Abanikanda will be available at those picks.

Abanikanda has good size at 216 pounds.
Official Forty: 4.41
Unofficial Forty: 4.27
Vert: 41"

Zack Kuntz
6-7, 255
Big hands and long arms.
4.55 forty
40" vert

Zack Kuntz is from my alma mater, he is a freaky athlete.

Swap that 5th to a LB and I like all the picks. We are down two players in the linebacker room and need bodies.

I would actually love to Benton pick at 90 but like you said I don't think it is going to happen.

I doubt Benton makes it to #58, let alone #90.
But if that was the haul, all be it maybe in a different order, I'd be stoked !
And yes, grab a LBer with your 5 th rounder ....

Exactly right. About a round too low for each.

But like you mentioned, 2 of my favorite prpsects at their positions and consdiering value.
I always have a hard time with where guys will end up--projections are all over the place. Of course, every year we see guys drop lower than where everyone says they won't make it to.

Please don't take that as criticism. Most of draft nerds like myself read everything we can find and listen to a million podcasts so it's just a consensus of where the media is pegging these guys.

The actual teams may feel differently and have them lower or higher than any of us think.

Try using Brugler's Top 100 as a guide. Maybe don't follow it to a tee but he's more accurate than most.
