Fullback Deon Anderson did not practice for the second straight day because of strep throat. Tight end John Phillips has taken the fullback reps.

Tight end Martellus Bennett (concussion), safety Ken Hamlin (ankle), cornerback Terence Newman (knee), safety Gerald Sensabaugh (thumb) and linebacker DeMarcus Ware (wrist/neck) took part in a full practice.

For the Commanders, defensive end Andre Carter (biceps) and defensive tackles Cornelius Griffin (shoudler) and Anthony Montgomery (hip) were limited. Cornerback DeAngelo Hall (knee) and tackle Stephon Heyer (knee) took part in a full practice.

wade did say in his press conf today that he was really concerned about fb anderson;

Strep throat should be a two day problem tops...I'd bet my left...anything...that he plays on Sunday.

Keep him far away from the rest of the team for awhile. :D

Strep is highly contagious. This is a bad time of the season to have it bouncing around from player to player.

Battering ram - few plays taken off IMO. Takes its toll, I guess.
