The Miami Dolphins signed former Dallas Cowboys fullback Deon Anderson after terminating the contract of linebacker Bobby Carpenter, who struggled on specail teams.

The 5-foot-10, 245-pounder former Cowboys sixth-round draft pick was selected in the 2007 NFL draft out of Connecticut.

Anderson was cut by the Cowboys on Sept. 24 to make room for tight end Scott Chandler, who was promoted from the practice squad.

He has caught nine career passes for 67 yards and one touchdown.

it is absolutely hilarious that the fins seem to want every ex cowboy even when BP has gone.

Because Parcells was the only member of their staff who worked for Dallas....

Sparano left before Cricket was signed, right? so I guess that Sparano must still be thinking our scouts know something.

I know some will hate this, and people will think I'm an idiot, but I'd really be perfectly ok if they resigned Carpenter and brought him back here to help out in whatever small ways he can on Special teams and what not.

He wasn't great, or even especially good, but he did a better job than what they've tried replacing him with so far.
