I like it better when Dexter didn't have to teach a buddy how to kill.

Of course, S4 was the best, then S1, then S2, then S5, then worst (but better than average TV show) S3.

Prediction: This is the season Deb finds out about him.

Dexter *Has* been somewhat worse and worse. But a bad season of Dexter is still better than most other shows. It's my 2nd Favorite show on TV now, bumped down by the Almighty Game of Thrones on HBO

I love Dexter. If you're judging a show based on its quality, then Mad Men and Breaking Bad are both in another league, but Dexter is one of those where if you're a fan you have to watch the new episodes as soon as they're available. It's just so compelling, in spite of glaring flaws in the writing that pop up.

I'm with you on this. BB is off by itself as #1, but I'd throw Dexter in at #2 no question.
