Hmm, if it weren't for the obvious interesting twist they have this year, I would probably skip it. (actually, I don't have Showtime now anyhow)

I like Dexter, but I agree. The John Lithgow season was the best, imo. This season looks like it will be a whole LOT better, if they can just make it a little less predictable.

They were married, until a few years ago, something with Julia Stiles. I would say, the first 3-4 seasons were EPIC, the last 2 have sucked.

In real life, yeah, they were. The last 2 haven't been as good but I feel like that's how the majority of long running shows are.

Breaking Bad is an exception.

Right, but the thing is, it's not on a CBS or Fox, so they pretty much can put whatever they want into the show. You would think, they have a broader horizon. Then again, I do not know if Michael C Hall was not a producer, then at a certain point, he became one. With a show like NCIS, at a certain point the star(Mark Harmon) became a producer, and then the show became sappy. So, I am wondering if something like that happened.
