The Browns' GM told the media today that they want to bring Dez Bryant in for a workout, but he won't return the calls. A fan called Dez out on twitter and this is what he wrote:

Followed by...

"I wouldn’t mind playing for the browns.. I just want to be right first."

Anyone want to speculate what he's talking about? He has to be in great physical condition. Is this mental? Still recovering from not having a star on his helmet? ;)

If he said this about, say, twelve months ago I would have believed him then, too.

Sorry, Dez, couldn't resist. Honestly, I do wish him well wherever he ends up. Had a nice run here but no longer fits what the Cowboys are trying to do.

Why send a twitter feed if you don't want reactions pro and con. Personally I don't care when you play or where you play. You can take your drama with you

He's all about drama and attention. But why is he not ready to play? I really think he identifies as a Cowboy and is having a difficult time coming to grips with putting on another uniform.

As I said I'm to the point that I don't care what he does. He burned the bridge with me when accusing Lee and Frederick of getting him kicked off the team. Play, don't play I don't care.

Well, this settles it. Dez is a cross between a looney bird and a child!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, what kind of answers are those? He seriously sounds like a petulant child, and one that's missing a few links!!!!!

I imagine he's waiting to see if any injuries occur during training camps, to teams starting wide receivers, to get better value.

This is true, but let's be honest, Dez was never a super X's and O's type of receiver. He's going to be way, way behind in any offense he goes into now; let alone a month from now when the games count.

His only hope is to latch onto a team with a superstar QB (Rodgers, Brady, Brees) that can stick the ball right between his numbers despite him running a limited route tree. At this point Dez is probably good for just slants and goal-line fades, in my opinion.

LOL I will always remember that time Dez was chasing someone down the sideline. Then J-Wit got up and Dez backed off immediately.

And those type QB's have zero interest in him. Plus, those QB's generally have their lauders stocked w/ WR's. He'd be on the bench for most good teams.

It's funny how he says he's not ready to play.
Training camp is where you go to get ready to play.
