He freaking caught it! Damn, that still pisses me off. I lost my voice that day. Will let you all know if he catches it this time.
About 9 minutes left in the 1st Quarter.
I am watching it for comparative purposes. It is interesting how many clear and obvious talent holes were on that team. Pretty awful DL, especially inside, weak LBers, no-name secondary. Pretty much a mess on defense. Offense was probably at the peak efficiency of the Romo/Witten/Bryant era. OL as well.Don't want to live through the pain of it all again.
I would have lost mine for being an insane person. Glad I wasn't there.Imagine being at work when Dez caught it and then it got overturned and try keeping your job

That is what I was getting at. Especially on the DL. If we play our cards right, we should be able to trade a player or two that we cannot keep. At least I hope we are able to.Man, the difference in defensive talent from then to now is striking.
Pretty much. The Murray fumble was the killer. Dallas takes control of the game on that drive without the turnover and can just hang on for the win. The turnover changed everything. We werent winning that game the way it would play out whether Dez catches it or not.

Compared to that? Yes, it is much improved. Not perfect mind you. Still could use a lot more inside. If Hill is nearly as good as Marinelli thinks he is, they could have a real shot at moving towards the top tier. You like the D line?
I only see them as solid.
Devasting turnover. He was going for 6 without that. Great play by Peppers if I remember right. The Murray fumble was the killer. Did he? My memory is getting short these days.Pretty much forgot how well Terrence Williams played in that postseason.
