This is why you let your agent handle everything and ignore anything the "they" brigade have to say and go about your business even if it includes holding out, etc. I don't remember Zeke making much of a deal out of things during his contract even through the "Zeke Who?" statements, etc. His agent gave perfect advice and it paid off for him. Players get emotional about the process that involves PR and all kinds of business things when in the end it'll either be a yes, no, or compromise. That's the "so tough" part from the players' side when maybe they romanticize how the process should be versus the actuality.

Some of you really need to let it go. :facepalm: I feel sorry for you fans that think our playoff struggles have been entirely on him. Our playoff struggles have been going on for decades dating back to Troy Aikman‘s final few years with the team.

I'm talking about comments on the contract process or expressing hurt feelings or making bruised ego comments. He waited out his agent's business and it took care of itself.

Yep. Also remember Dez came back early from a brutal broken foot injury to try and help the team and was never the same physically after that.

Dez was a team player through and through.

We've all seen Dak's ''highest level'', getting even more undeserved money from the Cowboys won't magically make him less of an inept choke artist.
