Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant (88) dives for a catch in a game against the Kansas City Chiefs during the first half of play at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Sunday, September 15, 2013.

Rick Gosselin joined Norm Hitzges on KTCK-AM. Here are some highlights.

Do you like the Cowboys' offense?

Rick Gosselin: The more Tony Romo throws, the less I like this team. I had a stat last week, every time he throws for over 40 passes in his career, he's 8-16. Every time he turns the ball over, they lose. I think their 7-16 in the last 23 games he's committed a turnover. You gotta run the ball. I didn't like the offensive line from the start. I thought Tyron Smith is a great starting point; I think Frederick is an addition. But I think they need to replace the other three guys and I'm not talking about Brian Waters. There is not commitment to the running game.

There hasn't been enough press/debate about the Cowboys lack of a running game so I thought I'd throw this up. :)

Good to know he thinks we need to replace Leary. And that Brian Waters doesn't count as a player. Other than that, it's nice to know that teams that throw too much because they're behind and then turn the ball over lose games.

I don't go in too much for that "he hates the Cowboys", unless its Steven A, Wilbon or that jerk Bill Simmons, but I have never heard Goose say anything positive about Dallas. If it's all just crapping on a team its not really worth listening to.

He does a fantastic job supporting his claims. He says they lose every time that Romo turns the ball over, follows it up with a 7-16 record...

Amazing stats, right up there with the "Cowboys are undefeated when Murray gets 20+ carries".

Well yeah, when you have a lead you typically run the ball to milk clock.

I figured there'd be even more said over this one. :)

hahaha thanks for throwing this chum to us sharks!

Gosselin - really? Doesn't like Free this year the guy has balled at RT. Leary has two NFL starts under his belt and has done ok. His answer reads like a girl getting snubbed at junior prom.

Gosselin is beginning to get on my nerves. There's only a few reporters that cover the Cowboys that are worth a damn.

So if we direct snap to Murray on every play we are guaranteed a win. 20 plus carries and no Romo turnovers. The stats say so.

Considering free had a phenomenal game against the chiefs; not sure his opinion even matters...

Ian rapoport reporting the lack of runs may be all on romo instead of Garrett or Callahan as he audibles out for the pass. Hatcher called out romo in practice this week after romo audibled out of a run and threw a pick six. In team meetings, Hatcher called out whole team in improving the run, including romo needing to increase our chances by sticking to called runs.

So during the game the head coach can't tell Romo what to do? Garrett can't demand more runs and less audibles?

Please nice try stirring the soup this morning but it's a team responsibility. Romo doesn't block or carry the ball either

I am a super Romo supporter, just relaying what rapoport had to say about Hatcher stepping up this week and putting pressure on Tony to stick to the run. I guarantee you you are right on Garrett and Callahan having authority over him on those play calls and maybe Tony does not trust our backs and line when demarco only gets 25 yards on 12 carries in route to 19 straight pass play calls to end the game.

I hear ya, but even the cowboys beat writers are tired of writing the same thing over and over for last 5-6 years....Romo turnover's lose games and the team needs to run the ball more.....nothing has changed with the Cowboys....... so the story stays the same.....

Story needs to be about how these ole veterans are losing out to the young guns....love watching these young guys play.... Dunbar, Wilcox, Hollowman, Selvie, Hayden, Leary, Fred and smith..... Cant wait to see Randle and Beasley get some game time
