Diablo III Beta testing has begun

It appears Diablo III beta testing has begun, but it's only company wide at this point. In a 1st quarter investor's call, Mike Morhaime (Blizzard President and co-founder) said that company wide testing last week and plan a beta 3 public testing in the 3rd quarter. He also said they are trying hard to release Diablo III this year, but couldn't promise that it would be and would offer no release date window.

Here are his specific comments.

On the 'Diablo 3' front, I'm pleased to report that we began internal, company-wide testing last week. The game is looking great and we are currently targeting a Q3 launch for external beta testing. The development team is working hard to try to launch 'Diablo 3' this year, but I want to be clear. We do not have an official release date or window yet.

I'll be traveling to Blizzcon this year and am praying they give out beta codes.

I got the hookup on Blizzard beta's. I got the SC2 beta and will probably get this one. I'm going to nerd it up!!!!!!!
