Absolutely. The biggest motivation is the fear of being embarrassed. After we butchered the two NY teams, you had to know you were getting the most motivated Cardinals playing at their highest intensity level. Were the Cowboys? Probably not. Especially when they're defending their place. We saw it when the Jags beat the Bills two years ago 9-6. We saw it last night.Just seems that way to me. Combine that with a mid week loss of Diggs. Missing 3 starting offensive lineman. A very flat Cowboys team All the makings of a trap game.
Maybe not if the refs didn't pick up the flag.Just seems that way to me. Combine that with a mid week loss of Diggs. Missing 3 starting offensive lineman. A very flat Cowboys team All the makings of a trap game.
100%, overlooked a scrapy team. Cardinals also played the 49ers until the 4th quarter.Just seems that way to me. Combine that with a mid week loss of Diggs. Missing 3 starting offensive lineman. A very flat Cowboys team All the makings of a trap game.
I think they did. specially the defense. they were drinking their own kool aid. they were undisciplined and then went rouge each trying to single handedly beat AZ and it got worse.Just seems that way to me. Combine that with a mid week loss of Diggs. Missing 3 starting offensive lineman. A very flat Cowboys team All the makings of a trap game.
I don’t think so. I think losing their best CB for the season and 3 starting offensive linemen late in the week after the game plan was set pretty much had some of the players shell-shocked and maybe a few coaches. We were way too conservative on offense out of fear regarding 3 backup offensive linemen and a 4th playing his first game of the season, and having the defense suddenly trying to cover for the secondary where a guy like Bland studied the receivers and routes from the slot all week and is suddenly outside. They, including Quinn, let that run game get out of control early. The early lead and ease in which the Cardinals ran up and down the field fueled their defense. It’s not an excuse, but I dont think it was a case of thinking we would defeat them easily with the team we were running out there.Just seems that way to me. Combine that with a mid week loss of Diggs. Missing 3 starting offensive lineman. A very flat Cowboys team All the makings of a trap game.
I did not understand the defense in that game. They were going full rush to the QB from the start and leaving huge running lanes for the Cardinals which they gladly used. The defense is built to apply pressure but we need a lead before we go all-in on the QB. It seemed to be fixed yesterday so hopefully that was just an anamoly.I think they did. specially the defense. they were drinking their own kool aid. they were undisciplined and then went rouge each trying to single handedly beat AZ and it got worse.
Arizona plays hard and has the Eagles defensive coordinator as their head coach. You could argue that Arizona should be 3-1. Very similar games as Denver two seasons ago and Houston last season. It’s the NFL every team can beat you.Just seems that way to me. Combine that with a mid week loss of Diggs. Missing 3 starting offensive lineman. A very flat Cowboys team All the makings of a trap game.
They did but I think a lot happened that week. They had to make up for the loss of Diggs, Zack, Tyron and Fredericks all in one week. Probably over thought some things….Diggs was a emotional blow.Just seems that way to me. Combine that with a mid week loss of Diggs. Missing 3 starting offensive lineman. A very flat Cowboys team All the makings of a trap game.
No. The team as a whole, except for special teams, simply performed poorly. Typically, teams that underestimate their opponents perform lazily. Dallas was not lazy against Arizona. They did not execute well at all on offense and defense. And coaching did not compensate for what Arizona was doing, especially at halftime.Did Dallas take Arizona too lightly?
