Image: Did San Francisco create a blue print on how to defend Jalen Hurts and the Eagles offense?

Seems like the SF dline stayed in there lanes and contained Hurts for most of the game.

Hurts had plenty of time to throw, but the SF secondary held with good coverage.

Will we see this Sunday night?

First of all, we don't play the same type of defense we do a lot of stunts twists crazy switches blitzing I mean this is a boom or bust defense and unless Dan Quinn stop playing man on the back end and devises a better defense than what he's played all year we're we will lose to the better teams more often than not.. Leaving guys on an island like he did in Seattle man to man when they were getting burned to a crisp that was a mistake and it's happened more often than not,.. Our defense is not as good as it's been touted to be it's boom or bust opportunistic it either gets a lot of turnover sacks and interceptions or it is very average...

You can create a blueprint. But maybe 2-3 teams have the ammo SF has. Jets, SF and maybe Dallas.

SF is super elite with their Linebackers and were able to spy Hurts

...Dallas will beat them other ways. Blitzing, pressure, good coverage and couple of INT's.

Dak will continue his crusade for bigger post season push.

Yeah, if only we have the same kind of defense that the 49'ers have.

they definitely run a different defense than ours ours are not disciplined enough just in the design is more stunts and twists and too much movement and blitzing and man on the back end I don't know that they can do it

This does not seem reasonable to me. While there are typically more defenders than receivers, you cannot double everyone. We do mix coverages. We do not run those line games on early downs either.

You are writing like we have some vanilla cover 1 man scheme which is not the case.

they did expose them, but they also have the DL and type of defense that can do that. they can contain and rush with their front 4, generating pressure. they have invested heavily in their DL. and then drop 7 into coverage, thus taking away passing lanes. Hurts isn't accurate from the pocket and struggles at times, thus they took away the b-gap, forced him to stay in the pocket and the pass rush eventually got to him. can we do the same? I hope so
