Guys, did you know that Julius Jones was a punt returner in college at notre dame?
Personally, I would like for the cowboys to try alonzon coleman at returning punts, he looked pretty shifty to me, when he was running last preseason game.
We do need a punt returner bad, from what i saw of patrick crayton the last preseason game, he looked like he really didnt care to return punts for the team, he looked really bad.
If you look at our teams that were successful like in 90's, we had kelvin martin as our punt returner, first 2 super bowls, and he broke open some key games for us in those games during the 92 and 93 super bowl run. Granted, Deion Sanders helped us with the 95 super bowl in his spot duty returning punts. But, we need to give Newman some rest, and not have him returning punts this year, when he comes back to play.
