Something I’ve been saying all through the off-season, after McGovern got hurt, we had Farniok…if another guard would’ve got injured the only options were Ball and Waltzeko.think about that for a sec and you might start to realize what a clown show we have running this team!

No depth at a weak position. Huh. I can't believe it.

Anyone who couldn’t see this disaster at OL was a homer, plain and simple.
yes the OL was a major concern this off-season, but to have just one legitimate backup guard on the roster, to start the season is ridiculous

I preached all offseason about attending to the offensive line through free agency Jerry didn't hear me

Well McGovern is out and to be honest I never thought Farniok was a downgrade but i had same question on another thread . Where is guard depth . Scour the PS of 31 other teams if no one is capable of a call up here . And now . Has to be on the game day roster next Sunday . Not something that can be addressed Thurs . Quit moving Smith around he’s the 77 replacement for good he’s the LT .

Philbin should be fired today.....but wishful thinking because he probably slept well and got excuses handed to him or in his behalf, instead of accountability.

I did. I've been complaining all off season that the OL was paper thin and not addressed in free agency or in the draft. We complained about penalties last year but that was still the #1 ranked offense in the NFL. So, when you lose your starting RT, G, and have no swing tackle, those are things that have to be addressed. We downgraded at all 3 of those positions and then Tyron got hurt........ So, the team was completely unprepared and the OL will continue to make life dangerous for anyone we put at QB.

McGovern was diagnosed with high ankle sprain which typically takes a minimum of 6 weeks to recover from....which means Dallas will be without T. Smith, C. McGovern, and Dak until at least the week 9 bye week (longer for Smith).

On the bright side I thought Farniok played well and I thought for the few snaps he was in that McGovern did too. Actually the OL overall was much better than expected, but if we need to keep TEs and RBs in to block I guess it should have looked that way.

On the bright side our offensive line looked pretty damn good minus Steele's three penalty drive. Tyler Smith is a beast, Zeke had nice holes and Dak had plenty of time.

Dak blew it, he didn't look like a starting NFL QB last night

we paid an average QB 42 million/y to run this team into the ground

if you didn’t think we have a clown show then….
