Dak is lighting it up! During Thanksgiving's game, Dak had four 30+ yard pass completions in one game. When is the last time anyone heard of any QB throw 30+ yard passes 4 times in the same game?

The key is going to be forcing some of the better defenses out of Cover 2. If they can keep their safeties back because of the underneath play/run defense, then it's hard to go deep when your receiver has two defenders on him. The screens, short passes and running game become a huge part of forcing teams to bring up a safety to give you some one-on-ones to win deep.

I seriously doubt this team is going to disregard several weeks of offensive progression based on one bad game; whenever that will be. We knew this was a new offensive philosophy this year and it would take some time for them to hit their stride. This is the stride. Will it be perfect here on out? Of course not. But the coaches aren't going to revert to the September playbook again.

I love how every QB has certain passes that they are best at. Dak's seam pass when teams play cover 2 or middle field open are just plain elite.

That is correct it is a staple of the West Coast offense and a staple of all college offenses that teams very similar to the way the 49ers run theirs you know how many edge plays they Chuck out on the side little wide receiver bubble screens quick outs to receivers 88 yard passes or less to devo and then he they take off and get all those yak yards pretty much the league does this all the time anybody who thinks that that was Prescott at the beginning of this year calling those conservative pass plays Bing safe that was pretty much Mike McCarthy that was in the game plan which he soon found out really didn't fit this team the way the defense was actually playing to the way they hoped that they would play, so they dug out the better place and open the offense up and here we are.... It's easy to prove that this is things that the actually OC calls it's not a product of the quarterback but it's been a staple in many offenses for years especially those ones out to the edges wheel routes I mean it's it's happens in just about every offense I've watched this year college and pros...

It was Dink and Dak for the first 4 games. Mike finally pulled his head out. Crazy how he was treating Dak like he was a rookie.

Hmm...I've been looking for such stats to verify what you said about Tua has already thrown 30+ yard completions 4 times in a game, but I can't find any. Do you have a link to support your statement?

it’s great to see Dak on that list, but it pains me to see two teams that I really hate, Houston and San Francisco, with a rookie and a second year quarterback, leading the league.

This is always a thing as if the Cowboys are the only team that plays weak teams. But we're also told Dallas is actually a weak team because they can only beat weak teams, so therefore Dak is lighting it up on a weak team.
