I just set my DVR to record the game at 4pm. I noticed that now in the guide, the listing says "Cowboys @ 49rs, HD, $, R" What does the "$" mean? I know I have Sunday Ticket on my account already, but to be sure I just called and they automatically verified it (offices aren't open untiil 8am to speak to a person).

I just don't remember seeing the "$" in previous years, and this is the first time I've had to use it this season.

So I called, and they assured me that the $ just indicates that it is a pay channel and verified that my subscription is active etc.

BUT .... the operator told me that the games can not be recorded on DVR because of NFL property rights???? Is this true this year??? Or does she just have no idea what she's talking about?

She's dumb. Long as you aren't selling the recording or trying to otherwise make a profit off it, it's fine.

Thanks for the replies and the link, guys. I had no issues last year, but since I will be out when the early game I want to record is on, I wanted to make sure there wouldn't be any issues.

If you go into info at the top it has $0.00, I think you are just fine.

Perhaps they are considering selling individual games in the future. No idea, but it is a new thing.
