So whats going to happen here? Hes 31 and the core of the team is aging. The only young talent there is Roddy B.

Is he going to move on to a better situation like the Nets or Bulls or will he just stand by Cuban and cross his fingers?

John Wall, Brook Lopez, Terrence Williams, Courtney Lee, cap room for another max FA(Lebron?) and an owner worth $17 Billion. That is much better than a near 40 year old Kidd and aging vets like Terry, and Butler

So John Wall, Courtney Lee, Lebron, Dirk, Lopez
or
Rose, Hinrich, Deng, Dirk, Noah

Isnt better than the Mavs future?

First of all, LeBron's not going there. He's just not. You don't know who the draft pick is going to be. You're basing your opinion of the situation off of your wet dream.

So it's Brook Lopez, Terrence Williams and Courtney Lee

vs.

Kidd, Terry, Butler (who is not old by any stretch of the imagination), Roddy B., Haywood... plus an owner who he KNOWS has no bounds in bringing in talent. Plus the Mavs have 10 straight 50-win seasons, your team would need 5 seasons like this last one to get 50 wins.

I can't even believe I'm wasting 10 minutes on my Saturday morning talking about this crap. I get it, you're a Nets fan, and this season has been tough on you. But criminey, this is just delusional.

Ugh. Ive been over this before. I give Lebron about a 1% chance of going anywhere but the Nets are clearly the best option if he wants a title. He also just signed John Wall to his marketing firm. They are very close friends.

Between John Wall, Terrence Williams, Brook Lopez, Kidd, Terry, and Butler the best 2 players are Wall and Lopez. After that it might even be Williams factoring in age and potential. The Nets also have the Mavs pick and more picks than any other team in the next 3 drafts.

I dont think Dirk is going anywhere but he has better options than the aging group in Dallas.

Wall, Lee, Lebron, Dirk, Lopez

The best 5 any team can assemble next year(and going forward since Wall is considered a comparable prospect to Lebron and Dwight Howard).

Im assuming Wade and Lebron dont want to play together. If Lebron were to go to Miami that obviously trumps all.

Or maybe if the Raptors and Lakers pull off this Bosh/Bynum swap. But even then LA has no PG and a weird fit between Gasol and Bosh.

But a line up of Wall, Lopez, and Lebron has 3 of the 20 best players in the NBA at ages 19, 22, and 26. Then throw in whichever FA Lebron recruits. Dirk is random as hell b/c hes pretty much not leaving but hes an even more enticing option than Amare b/c of the range.

The Nets? Man they'd have to throw some serious money around to get Dirk and James to bother going there.

I'm sorry but the Nets aren't going to get either of those guys and they're not going to be getting anywhere near an NBA Championship anytime in the near future.

Actually, PHX and the Lakers would be far better options for Dirk than the Nets.

However, I do not really see any room on the Lakers for Dirk, so that leaves the Suns. Imagine Amare, Dirk, Richardson, Barbosa, and Nash in the starting lineup.

This being said, Dirk wont leave Dallas. He is loyal to Cuban's money.

Did anyone see Cuban get cursed out by Kenyon Martin last year?

He looked like the biggest tool.

Well how would Phoenix sign him though? The Nets can actually afford 2 max FA's and would have 2 all-nba players in Lopez and Wall on cheap rookie deals. Plus the Suns are notoriously cheap. The Nets new owner can buy draft picks like M&M's.

I give Dirk a less than 1% chance of leaving Dallas. He and Cuban are boys
