So I bought 4 new tires for my truck, first new tires since I bought it 4 years earlier. No problems with the truck whatsoever. I got the tires and they broke part of my rim so they had to order a new part. On the same tire they broke the TPMS stem so my tire was flat to the rim the next morning. I JUST went outside and noticed a different tire flat to the rim!!! Anyone else have any experience with this place? All I know this is the last time I go there.

Sooooo, what is everyone's favorite place to get new tires??

I actually go to a local place that sells used tires. I find they do just fine and I pay a ton less than I would new.

some discount tires are terrible, i bought a car that had used discount and got a flat(my fault) i went to change it and they had cross threaded 3 of 5 of the lug nuts on the stud. i broke all three of those lug nuts off with the stud still inside.

that being said i have used them since and they fix flats for free and give air and usually do good work. i now look in the garage first and make sure it is nothing but men working and that they seem to know what they are doing and not some high school kid or pansy. if they ain't dirty they ain't workin

A decent place to do tire research (and you can order tires if you want) is www.tirerack.com

I've been buying the tires I really wanted, not the limited selection you get from the chain stores for the better part of 10 years. I always get great customer service and fast shipping.

The only thing you really need to do is find someone you trust locally to install and balance the tires.

I go to Discount Tire more often than not. When I was a student, I went to a hood place two blocks from my house.

They're still there and if I need something and I'm in the area, I'll still go there.

Like someone else said, there are good and bad Discount Tires. I just like to be consistent so I go to the one by my house every time.

All of my dealings with Discount Tires have been great.

I normally just steal tires and rims from guys who drive Mustangs while they order food at a drive thru. To add insult to injury, I make them get a double burger with cheese too.

I'm from the streets.

I either go to a local place or wally world.

Wally World does not do balancing, at least not where I am so most of the time I just go to the local place that can do it all.

Jesus loves you

Sam's Club is where I usually go. Last time I bought truck tires I actually bought them on sale at the Chevy dealership.
