Cowboys taking St. Louis seriously
The Cowboys swear they won't get caught sleeping this weekend against the winless Rams. Several players made it clear that they would be just as focused in their preparation for St. Louis as they were for the Bears.
"You know those games you're going to win in college," DE Marcus Spears said. "They can pretty much strike up the band. But in this league, there's so much uncertainty. It's the NFL. Regardless of what people mention, these are the best football players in the world.
"It may sound like a cliche, but it's the absolute truth. You can lose to any team in this league if you don't prepare."
Prediction: A prepared Cowboys team gets to rest its starters in the fourth quarter.

Henry needs help with Holt
CB Anthony Henry isn't the type to talk a big game, and he's not doing any boasting even after back-to-back two-pick games. Especially with perennial Pro Bowl WR Torry Holt coming to town.
What's the secret to slowing down Holt?
"Get pressure on the quarterback," Henry said. "Ain't nothing I can do special to stop him. It's going to take the whole defense."
Henry also isn't the type to make excuses, but his bum knee had a lot to do with him having a bad 2006 season. He's never been known as a blazer, but he was a step slower last season, which makes it real difficult when your job is to run with 4.4 receivers.
Henry appears to be much more aggressive than he was a year ago. That's primarily because compensating for a sore knee is no longer on his mind.
"It's just a thing where you're healthy and have a lot more confidence out there on the field," he said.
