I always wondered why he didn't choose to scramble when the option came up last year.

Ironically I was thinking more Steve Young.

I don't think Montana was as athletic moving around with the ball.

And no I'm not comparing him to them. Yet.

Same here. More Steve Young's legs, with his own style of Tony Romo downfield play.

Us Cowboy fans are so spoiled. Romo is OUR QB, and is a great one at that. He is still top 3 in my mind. Peyton and Brady need a supporting cast to be "great" and Romo has done more with less. Brees is a close 3rd but his team is not as complete as ours. How can any of us really forget the years bw troy and romo? Yeah we have a great stable of rb's but does anyone remember that he did even better with julius freakn jones as the starter? And don't point to TO as the reason, he was a great wr but needed the ball given to him almost directily in his hands to make an impact, alot of our posters seem to conveniently forget that.

Romo is similar to Favre in creativity, but he has a much quicker release. Maybe not as big an arm, but Romo's release is as quick as anyone's, past or present.
