T.O. vs. Jones: Not much to see today

Any time Terrell Owens lines up against Adam Jones during 11-on-11 drills, you can hear a noticeable buzz among the fans. They want to see something great. We want to see something great. But today, there wasn't much to see.

Jones was in zone coverage most of the time he was lined up against Owens. Jones released Owens to run downfield. After Owens took off, Jones could have easily blown up Marion Barber on a short-range pass (that was too high).

The next matchup, Owens broke inside and Jones read the play correctly. He backpedaled, found the ball and broke up a pass intended for fullback Deon Anderson near the sideline.

Jones did some other things today besides cover Owens. He locked up Jason Witten at the line of scrimmage to keep the star tight end from getting a free release. Jones also picked off an errant Richard Bartel pass intended for Todd Lowber.
