Go to YouTube and watch this vid that I uploaded from the San Diego game a few weeks ago, but watch it in 1080 format with the expanded screen. Do you see the same video distortions that I'm seeing in the attached pictures?

I see them. But when I see online video of a program instead of live it is pretty typical.

Pretty good though.

Yeah, I don't see them when I watch the raw recording either. The problem only seems to affect CBS and NBC, which broadcast in 1080. I recently downloaded an update for my recording device, so maybe that's the culprit.

Ok. watched it through. The ridge effects begin around the 12 second mark and are sporadic thereafter. Not as pronounced as your screen shots.

And they more or less disappear if you watch it in 720. Gotta fix this before Sunday night.

I can pretty much see it anytime the camera moves at 1080p, but I don't see it at all at 720p.

Too impatient to work through youtube. Downloaded the mp4 to match frames as best as I could guess.

The score bar is crystal clear. The actual game is not.

Who knows.

This clip that I recorded last season plays just fine in 1080, so I think the recent upgrade I did is the problem. I'll uninstall the program and go back to the earlier version tomorrow.
