Do People Really Think Surtain Goes Before 10?

So true lol. To add if Dallas REALLY wants a CB and Surtain is gone and we take Farley with the 10th pick (and he very well could be the best CB at the end of the day), they’ll complain and say we always reach on “injured players”

Yep, about half the people will complain about using that high a pick on an injury risk.

And if the team doesn’t want to risk an injured player at 10th overall and instead takes Horn, the other half will be upset about not taking the perceived more talented (read; faster 40) player.

At first I thought Denver would take him, but now I'm not so sure. In fact, looking at their roster I'm leaning against them taking a CB. They have other needs, and CB really isn't one of them. And they're pretty much the only team in front of us I see possibly drafting him.

If I am Denver, I'm making some move for a QB, any move. They have a more competitive roster than it may seem, but every season that Andrew Lock starts is another one wasted. I would have even gone for Dalton if I was the Broncos, because even he would have been an upgrade. They just need someone who can get that offense off the mat.

As it stands, they are on the outside looking in of the QB frenzy, but I don't think it will stay that way.

We might as well just take Justin Fields when he falls... Get a QB battle going in Dallas.. When our OLine gets injured.. QB1 gets hurt.. in comes our 2021 first round backup! lol kindof joking but it's been wayyy too many years in Dallas where they undervalue the backup QB.

I don't think Surtain goes before 10, but if he did, that's fine. We simply stay put and take the best player there (which would probably be Slater) or trade down/grab a guy who probably isn't rated that much lower than Surtain like Horn.

As clean a prospect Surtain is, I don't think anyone would cry if we pick up Horn or Newsome instead.

I think Denver could be in play for a CB, but Dallas is probably ok with whatever happens cause they can get a top CB regardless.

I see Denver not letting Parsons get past them.
