100%. From what I have seen from both. I would have more faith in Rush 2 Brown.

I won't make that leap but there is no doubt Dak is better when he involves all his receivers. Only 4 Cowboys had more than 1 reception Sunday and 1 was the RB Pollard. Keep in mind Dak threw it 46 times. The RBs carried it 27 times. Both averaged over 5 yards per carry. That is inexcusable. We said it before the season, if Dak throwing it over 40 times they lose. They need to balance run and pass. The Cowboys OL is much better run blocking than pass blocking anyway.

With Rush, they balanced the run and pass better. But it's not like Rush lit up the scoreboard.

I think we're not in the position to need to convert if Rush plays to be honest.

We don't score as many points, but we play smarter and make less mistakes.

I'll take that over a few more points any day.

Yeah but what do you do about the defense? It’s sickening to know you are strapped on offenses. And your defense was a fraud. Quinn knows it. And now the NFL knows it. Washington did more with less because they had a defense that could tackle last week. Washington beat a 8-0 eagles while we lost a 2 TD lead in the 4th to a team that was on a 4 game losing streak. I mean. You can’t make this **** up. I hate to sound like Stephen a smith but …. Geez what can go wrong. Will go wrong. This team just plain sucks.

Yeah we prolly winning that game if Rush is the starter. Dak isn’t that guy. And never will be. If we even sniff a playoff win. It will be because we turn it around on defense. And zeke and pollard get going at the same time.

We're not sniffing a playoff win.

We'll get ran over by Tampa Bay or San Fran in the Wild Card game.

Correct, but somehow the team won 4 straight with him playing a much more balanced offensive approach and playing against much better teams then we've played since daks been back..imo

Quinn needs to do something. At this point can the run defense get any worse? If they are looking at the game film each week they must see who is not getting the job done on defense. Based on what I have seen, and I admit it is only the TV coverage, I think Sam Williams is the best DE they have against the run. Yes he makes some rookie mistakes, but watch him stand up the OTs and TE who try to block him on those off tackle plays. He is only going to get better. But too many times we see those sweeps to the outside and there are more blockers in front of the runners than there are Cowboys defenders. The pursuit is later or gets cut off. LVE is a 30-70 player. He'll make one play and then miss the next 2. I don't expect the DL to stuff every run at the LOS, but when they don't we expect to see other guys step into the gap and close it. That doesn't happen.

The way the defense is playing, Cooper Rush and his 20 points a game would not get the job done either.

No idea if Rush converts or not. And let me say without question that Dak is the more talented player, but what can't happen is Dak Prescott throw the football nearly 50 times in a game....especially one where you are leading most of that game and you are averaging over 5 yards per carry on the ground. Dak didn't lose the game on Sunday, but somehow it does seem that the Cowboys are a better team with Rush IF Dak/Moore are going to dial up 40-50 passes in a game. Give me the formula this team used against the Bears. Dak going 21/27 for 250 yards will win a lot of football games. Dak going 30/50

Honestly had they ran a draw play on 3rd down we are probably not even talking about converting 4th down right now.

I think Green Bay was like bottom of the league in rushing. So to answer your question yeah the rushing defense can get worse. The Vikings are on paper better than Green Bay at rushing the football. Beat the Viking and stop the run, and I may change my perspective. But that not likely. Not the way these secondary players are making business decisions.

Maybe athletic maybe. But talented no. Dak doesn’t get that benefit of the doubt anymore. He is cooper rush. Just has the QB1 spot doesn’t make you talented.

I mean who knows. Maybe. Question is why to we assume we have to throw there and on 3rd down?

The problem is not necessarily Dak. He can make all the same the same throws Rush makes.

The problem is that the Cowboys view him as an elite QB who can carry a team with his arm, and they play call accordingly when he is in the game. Dak should never throw the ball 40+ in a game. Its like the OC just can't help himself. But when Rush is in the game, we go to a more conservative, run focused offense. The results speak for themselves. Running the ball effectively also helps rest the defense and shortens the game.

Oh I agree completely. Dak isn't the issue, but the way this team wants to continue to use Dak is a major issue. He's not Mahomes, and doesnt have the weapons of a guy like Tua. It's an issue to the point where it's actually a reasonable debate to if a lesser QB who plays within the system and forces the OC to be more grounded is better for the team.

Run the football. It sets up the play action, and dictates to teams what coverages they can run. Nearly every other team in the league is committing to running the football, and the Cowboys have a heck of runner in Pollard with another pretty good one in Zeke about to come back.

despite the fact that Cowboys 3rd down conversions where bad during that period? OK lol
So what brown doesn’t dance around on that slant like lamb does. He drives to the ball and catches it. Brown has shown to be that guy. I’m not giving lamb that route again next week if situation comes up. It’s brown or gallup.

If you are really going to watch both players and tell me that Dak doesn't move better and have a stronger arm than Rush the agenda is clear. You can do a whole lot more with Dak in the game because he is a more talented player.

I'm all for a good Rush/Dak debate, but c'mon man. You put Dak in the Cooper Rush role and he is the better player by far. Problem is the Cowboys continue to get away from what they do best.

I would hope they will look to each of them, Lamb coming off an 11 catch 150 yard game with 2 TD. He made a mistake on a post rout but I'm sorry I don't throw a guy in the dog house because of 1 play, hell he also made a lot of big plays for this team in that game. Sorry I don't share your views

KM is the biggest problem with our offense. Our OL is much better at run blocking than pass blocking, but he keeps insisting we pass more. Especially on critical downs.
We will keep having crappy results until he gets his head out of his butt.
