Do we ever blitz anymore?

Honestly asking. I remember with Quinn we didn't blitz much... and didn't see much today out of zimmer. I know we got ran over, but there is such a thing as a run blitz. Maybe try and make a splash or negative play. Try and counter what the other team is doing. I know with bland out our coverage isn't as good, but our secondary isn't horrible. I think I saw our first run blitz in the 4th quarter.

I feel that because we have Micah sometimes defensively we get caught with "we can get pressure with 4 guys" all the time. Meanwhile the other team is double and tripling Micah and we can't take advantage.

Like a lot of us are talking about in terms of the offense, I feel like the defense is too reliant on one guy. Where were the adjustments? I thought zimmer would be better at those.

They weren't getting pressure anywhere. I did see a ton of holds, but this was pure folly.

that was the promise of the AAGap defense that Zim was going to bring to Dallas.

We rarely see it.
The Double A Gap alignment under Zimmer is, and always has been, about the threat of the blitz. Making the D adjust and account for the possibility before the snap and for what is actually happening at the snap.
Not a lot of actual blitzing going on.
If you do see a blitz when they are in that Double A Gap alignment, its probably situational (3rd and long) and the linebackers are often making the decision at the snap based on offensive keys. At least one usually bails. If the blitzing guy is accounted for, he often bails, too, repopulating the space he just vacated.
Unfortunately, you saw poor analysis that disregarded stats and metrics if you were expecting otherwise.
