Do we really need a culture change with these players?

If you look at the top players on this team, Dak, Micah, Lamb, Diggs, these guys have been here going on 5 years or more. How exactly can a coach come in here and change someone that's been in the league for this amount of time. Will these players give resistance or will they welcome and embrace what a GOOD coach could do in changing the CULTURE?

What can a coach actually do with the amount of money that's involved in these players contracts. You really mean to tell me that if Dak misses a few meetings, the coach is going to sit him out and tell him he's not playing? (This is just an example). We know that JERRY is the main issue for the culture problem, but we're tired of hearing about him, and his come to me first approach if you don't get your way. Let's shift the focus on these players, please give your thoughts

The culture isn't going anywhere till you know who dies. The contract to Dak was probably one of the worst things that could've happened, that alone screwed this franchise up for the next 5 years. Coaching at this point dosent matter. I was in favor of giving Dak a deal, mainly because I don't trust this front office to find a qb.

I can see a guy like Lamb benefiting from Deion. No more temper tantrums for sure.

Overall, there is a lot of passive aggressive female tendencies from our "leaders" that would get addressed w/ a Deion culture change.

Can you imagine the clown show in Frisco right now? They probably can’t find enough coaches willing to work for this embarrassment of a football team.

“ call Zimm again and see if we can talk him into it”

OP you do not understand the difference between players and culture.
Nor do you - this franchise is devoid of culture.
It’s a country club - for losers like the quarterback. Quarterbacks take your pick..
30 years of stench

Jerry sets the culture here and always has post Jimmy. No head coach since Jimmy has had the authority to change the culture because when the hc fires players, the culture changes.

I think culture flows from the top of an organization…Jerry has created a culture of entitlement with no accountability that has permeated through all levels of the organization; and add to that the Cowboys don’t have strong leaders who can effect change within the locker room.
Any way one looks at this …it’s a mess.

When Zeke and Dak got here in 2016 I thought the franchise was gonna get that culture change. As years passed Zeke and Dak started falling in line with everyone else who's been here. They're all the same after a while.
lol Zeke isn’t the guy you want setting the culture
Fun guy but he priorities partying

You don't change players. They are what they are.

You put a better system in place to make them better on the field. Install some discipline. If the players does not buy into it. And decidedness too. be prima donna or a locker room cancer. Then have the guts to move on from them.

But with this team that needs to come from the top. And with this FO, that has not, and will not happen. So that is the culture part. Players are coddled if they go along with you.

I doubt it, but maybe Brian can help change this. We will see come FA time and how they pursue any players besides their own guys they like.

5 years? You need a new calculator. Parsons and Lamb are outstanding.
