Do we target our 1 WR enough?

Ceedee is our #1, over the years DAK has had Dez, and Cooper. Pretty good wrs to have if you ask me. But moving forward, is Lamb given enough targets as a number one should, or are they given to the TE'S, RB and other wrs?? Please give your thoughts

This offense is built on getting the ball out quickly. A play may target Lamb, but if we don't draw the look we want or he isn't open quickly, Dak is supposed to move on and make a throw. That's why there's a lot of short, underneath stuff to backs and tight ends. There are opportunities for chunk plays to the receivers, but there also is just a bunch of quick throws to try to keep pressure at bay and not force things. We did a couple of plays Sunday where we were carrying out a play-fake and New England didn't bite and sacked Dak; it's possible that those were setting up throws to the wideouts.

Not completely just yet, but the opportunities are coming, this entire offense is still just evolving, the defense is a click ahead.

He's on track for 1,300+ yards which I think is reasonable for a no.1 WR.

Different offense now. Those WR's played in The Clappers offense.

He gets his targets but what I want to see is more YAC from the receivers. That is what this offense is supposed to deliver.

Target whoever is open. However hate what MM is doing with Cooks. Basically tied a rope around his legs and limited his skill set


But yes my biggest complaint about Coopers last year here was that Dak never forced the ball to him and towards the end of the year hardly checked his way. There were numerous tape breakdowns showing Coop wide open and Dak never looked his way and checked the ball down. You could see in Coops body language he was done with Dak. Think Warner had one of the breakdown videos
