Do we think the next HC will come from this weekends candidate pool, or will Dallas actually interview more candidates and let his play out longer? If so I wonder what the next set of interviews could look like ?

If the coach he wants is currently coaching a playoff team, it provides him with a longer period to milk the attention as long as that team remains in the playoffs.

My guess is the scenario Jerry hopes will happen is that the coach he wants ends up being one of the coordinators for one of the Super Bowl teams.

That way, he can keep the Cowboys in the daily media all the way up to the Super Bowl then attempt to get some of the Super Bowl attention diverted to him and the Cowboys when they announce the hire.

If the team of the coach he wants loses, then he will likely be forced to move ahead with the hire before then.

It’s 90 percent going to be Moore
Jerry wants to close his life basically able to have himself driving the decisions and feeling harmonious
Its Been that way for the last 15 years with Garrett and Big Mike
He isn’t going to take a risk hiring Deion or another outsider who could create tension
I’m not being sarcastic or critical in this post — just clearly where this is all headed

i'm hopng its aaron glenn, lions def coord.
but as this moves along,it sounds like its kmoore...or trending that way.
hate it...but ain't nothing i can do about it.

It's going to come down to one very simple question. Is the HC candidate willing to have JWitt on his staff as the heir apparent, coach in training?
Whoever says yes first will be the next HC of the Dallas Cowboys. That most likely will be KM. Interesting enough, Aaron Glenn might also say yes since Glenn and Witt were teammates for few years.
